August Checklist ✔️

Hello everyone! This is my August To-Do List plus my July Accomplishments! And, if you want, check out my July Goals

July Accomplishments:

Personal:

✖️I have not read 20 books, only 13

✔️I have baked. Like 3 or 2 times, I actually baked yesterday. I’m gonna post the recipe, but forgive me, I forgot to take pictures.

✔️ Yes, I have read every book in the Harry Potter series!

Yesss, 2/3 done.

Blogging:

✔️I have reached 40 followers! 44 now, and thanks so much to everyone for following me.

✔️Annnd, I have published the post for the 30 Followers Q and A.

✔️ And finally, I have reached 300 over likes! Thank you everyone, for clicking that little button at end of posts!

And now, for my August goals…

Personal:

• Update my story on Wattpad. Yes, I have Wattpad, but now, I mostly read than write.

• Bullet journal. I got the journal two months ago, I only started on my July pages. Come to think of it, I should post my July pages of my bullet journal here… Ah well, that’s me. Always procrastinating. 😜

• Bake. I know, this was on last month’s checklist, but you can’t be wrong with delicious baked goods ( at least I think the things I bake are good)

And now, for my blogging goals…

• Reach 600 likes. Do you think we can do that? 500 is also good…

• I was thinking of changing my blog theme. I still haven’t decided on the theme but just but.

• I have now reached 45 followers so maybe now my goal is 60 or 70.

June Accomplishments + July Goals

How could it be that a month ago, I was just posting my June To-Do list? It must be the holidays, I think everything goes faster when you are on holiday.

If you want to check out my June To-Do List, click here.

Anyways, on to the list!

May Accomplishments:

Personal:

✖️I have decided not to perform in my school talent show. I’ve let my stage fright get the best of me, also, the deadline was during the last week of school in May.

✖️I have not posted any recipes. Yeah, very sorry about that, but, I will try to do it this month( if I can)!

✔️Yup, I have cleared my desk. I even tried experimenting and arranged my books in a way such that it now looks like a book building!

✔️I have successfully binge watched every single every Harry Potter movie!

So, the number of goals I have accomplished is…

2/4. Wow, so bad. Note to self: Add accomplish more goals to list of goals. 😜

Blogging:

✔️I have reached 30 followers! As said in my previous post, and again, sorry for screaming at you with caps.

✔️IMG_1453

Yup, I have reached 200 likes. Thanks for liking everybody!

✖️I have not posted everyday, since I have missed a few daily quotes when I was on holiday.

Soooo, 2/3. Good enough for me!

My July To-Do List:

Personal:

• Read at least 20 books. *cough cough* I may or may not have read 30 books in one month before…

• Bake. I will do it this month, maybe try out a few recipes.

• Re-read all the Harry Potter books, last month it was movies, now, its books. And have I said that 26th June was the anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone?

Blogging:

•Reach 40 followers. Or maybe 50.

• Publish that post for that 30 followers Q and A. Sorry @PenelopeCrumb for keeping you waiting. 😉

• Now that I have reached 200 likes, now my next goal is 300.

Annnd, that’s it!

A few blogging tips

I have seen a lot of these posts recently, and I decided to give it a shot!

1. Stick to your plan

If your blog is about photography, but then you go write a post that’s about, I don’t know, books, then that doesn’t make sense. A lot of the blogs I see and follow are lifestyle, writing or cooking blogs.

2. Be kind

You may see this pop up a lot, but it’s true. A few tips for being kind is that when someone follows you, try to check out their blog. I mean, they follow you for a reason right? Also, when someone comments, always always reply.

3. Post frequently

It can be once a week, once a day or even a few times a month. But no reader wants to read a blog that’s inactive. My goal is 3 posts a day, not counting the daily quotes.

4. Post pictures

Pictures are there to jazz up the post and add a bit of color. Even if it’s taken by your mobile phone, phones are also cameras! Or, if you want to skip the photo taking, you can also create your own featured images online. I love to use Canva, just that I’m sometimes too lazy to open it up. My blog logo is made using Canva.
