Good afternoon everyone! (If it’s morning or evening where you live, then good morning/evening) I’m so sorry that I forgot to post on Monday, just had to finish up a bit of homework. 😉
(This is not a sponsored post. All thoughts are mine)
A Dash of Magic!
It’s the second book in a series, but it’s also fine as a stand-alone book. It’s about Rosemary Bliss, a young cook who’s family’s magic cooking book had just been stolen. And not by any old thief, the book was stolen by their Aunt Lily LeFay.
She has used to book to cheat her way up the social ladder, becoming the top celebrity chef. Rose wants to get the Bliss Cookery Booke ( Ahh, I love how it’s spelled with an e, looks so elegant! And if anyone had read Anne of Green Gables, you might see the common thing between me and Anne when it came to names) and when her aunt was doing a TV show, she challenged Lily to a baking competition in Paris. And the good thing is, with a huge audience watching, Lily can’t back down. Rose tells Lily that if Lily gives her back the Booke, she will lose the competition on purpose. To Rose’s surprise, Lily declines.
And to make it even worse, Lily had just launched a new magical ingredient, and anyone who eats it makes the person obsessed with Lily. The Bliss family needs another copy of the Booke, and the only other one in the world is with their great grandfather ( I think?) Balthazar Bliss, but here’s the catch: it’s written in an ancient language, but their grandfather can translate.
The Bliss family takes Balthazar and his talking cat to Paris, where they meet the world famous Jeanpierre-Jean Pierre, ( Again, I think that’s his name?) the inventor of the chocolate eclair ( according to the book).
In order to fight fire ( or in this case, Magic), you need fire of your own. And that’s what Rose did.
Will rose win the competition? Or will her chances of getting back the Booke burn? Comment your thoughts about the book, I would love to see what all of you think!

Hello everyone! This is my August To-Do List plus my July Accomplishments! And, if you want, check out my July Goals
✖️I have not read 20 books, only 13
✔️I have baked. Like 3 or 2 times, I actually baked yesterday. I’m gonna post the recipe, but forgive me, I forgot to take pictures.
✔️ Yes, I have read every book in the Harry Potter series!
Yesss, 2/3 done.
✔️I have reached 40 followers! 44 now, and thanks so much to everyone for following me.
✔️Annnd, I have published the post for the 30 Followers Q and A.
✔️ And finally, I have reached 300 over likes! Thank you everyone, for clicking that little button at end of posts!
And now, for my August goals…
• Update my story on Wattpad. Yes, I have Wattpad, but now, I mostly read than write.
• Bullet journal. I got the journal two months ago, I only started on my July pages. Come to think of it, I should post my July pages of my bullet journal here… Ah well, that’s me. Always procrastinating. 😜
• Bake. I know, this was on last month’s checklist, but you can’t be wrong with delicious baked goods ( at least I think the things I bake are good)
And now, for my blogging goals…
• Reach 600 likes. Do you think we can do that? 500 is also good…
• I was thinking of changing my blog theme. I still haven’t decided on the theme but just but.
• I have now reached 45 followers so maybe now my goal is 60 or 70.
